Remembrance Day

Remembrance Day is Sunday, November 11. In recognition of this date, CGMA will hold our annual Remembrance Day ceremony on the morning of November 12. Ron Serkies, from the Georgina War museum, will speak to the students on November 7.

Poppies are available with a donation in the front hall of the school.

Parent/Teacher Interviews Nov. 22 and 23

On the evening of Thursday, November 22 and the morning of Friday, November 23, the staff would like to invite our CGMA parents to attend Parent/Teacher interviews. Information will be provided closer to the date. We look forward to discussing student progress with you.

Friday, November 23 will be a PA Day; no school for students.

School Trip

The students from Grades 1 through 8 will be participating in a visit to St. Marie Among the Hurons on November 6. The children will be able to see and learn about the historic site, and experience a day within the Indigenous culture. We look forward to hearing all about their adventures.

 

Year Book Orders

Please submit your order forms as soon as possible. We will not have extras available for purchase in the Spring.

CEMC Math Competition

November 15 for Grades 7/8 and 9/10

News in Sports

The u8 - u14 Cross Country Runners had a very successful day on october 2, despite the weather! The u10 soccer team spent a fun filled day at the vaughan sports complex on october 16. the u12 soccer team visited the same location on october 25 for their indoor competition. fun was had by all. the full cross country team grade 1-12 competed on october the 19, with many high placements. the u16 indoor 4x4 soccer was held on october 29. congratulations to all our athletes!
